01EQUITY

Loss limits use equity.

Equity is balance plus unrealised P&L. Touching either the daily loss floor or maximum drawdown floor can permanently breach the account, including while positions are open.

The daily loss allowance is recalculated from the day's starting balance at 00:00 UTC. That is 09:00 in Japan and South Korea. US local time depends on the time zone and daylight saving; use UTC as the reference.

Example: a $25,000 day-start balance and 3% daily loss rate yield a $750 allowance and $24,250 daily equity floor. The maximum drawdown floor also applies independently.

02DRAWDOWN

Static and trailing are different constraints.

One-step plans use a fixed maximum drawdown based on starting balance: 3% for Turbo, 5% for Pro and 6% for Classic. This floor does not rise as profits increase.

Classic 2-Step trails the highest equity by 8% of starting balance. Floating gains can raise the high-water mark. The floor stops rising at starting balance. Targets are 5% for Step 1 and 10% for Step 2.

Compare fee, profit target and loss limits at the same account size. A smaller fee may come with tighter limits. Two evaluation stages should not be treated as a single target by adding their percentages.

03PAYOUT

Reward share and payout requirements.

The Rulebook lists an 80% participant share, a $20 minimum request, on-chain USDC payments and processing within 24 hours. Evaluation and breached accounts are not eligible for rewards.

Close all positions before requesting a payout. Available profit is swept in full; partial requests are not supported. Check the applicable current rules for balance and drawdown resets after payout.

04BREACH

Account termination and prohibited conduct.

The rules describe breaches as permanent, with no resets or appeals. Evaluation fees are non-refundable after activation. Liability for account trading losses is stated not to exceed the evaluation fee.

Strategy flexibility does not remove conduct restrictions. Opposing hedges across accounts or external accounts, exploiting bugs or latency, account sharing and identity fraud are restricted. Read Rulebook §15.

UNDERSTAND THE LIMIT

Daily loss: a worked example

Start-of-day balance × daily loss rate. Maximum drawdown applies separately. This is an educational example, not a trading-decision tool.

FAQ

FAQ: Propr rules and pricing

Q

Is the Propr entry fee refundable?

AAfter account activation, the fee is non-refundable regardless of the outcome. This includes failing the Evaluation or termination after reaching a loss limit.

Q

Can I trade during news events or hold over weekends?

AYes. Trading during news events, holding positions over weekends or overnight, scalping, and using EAs or bots are all unrestricted. There is no consistency rule either.

Q

Which trading activities does Propr prohibit?

AThese include exploiting bugs, sharing or selling accounts, taking opposite positions across multiple Propr accounts or external exchanges (hedging), colluding with other traders, and latency arbitrage. Violations may result in account termination or suspension of access.

Q

How much leverage can I use?

ALimits are set for each asset and applied automatically. Examples include 10x for BTC, ETH and SOL, 2x for other crypto assets, 4x for equities and 25x for FX. You may use any leverage up to the applicable limit.

Glossary

Terms on this page, explained simply.

Equity
The current value of your account: realized balance plus unrealized P&L on positions that have not yet been closed. Propr uses this figure to assess passing criteria and loss limits.
Daily Loss Limit
The maximum loss allowed in 1 day: that day's starting balance × 3% (5% for 2 STEP). It resets daily at 00:00 UTC (9 a.m. Japan time).
Max Drawdown
The maximum loss allowed across the account. If the account falls below this limit, it is terminated regardless of how many days have passed.
Leverage
The multiplier that allows you to trade amounts larger than your account's capital. Propr sets limits for each asset and applies them automatically.
Funded account
An account available after passing the Evaluation and completing identity verification. It has no Profit Target, and you can request 80% of profits as a reward. This account is also simulated.
